Albert “Wes” Westhoven, our proprietor, began our journey in 1972 when he purchased a quaint family diner. He then introduced simple concepts: the ambiance of a French country inn, fresh local ingredients, French techniques, and casual dining.
Food and Wine
Our meals are prepared with the freshest locally produced ingredients when possible. This includes Michigan’s morel mushrooms whenever they are available.
We also take pride on our collection of fine wines. You may purchase a bottle at your dinner table or take one with you as a retail sale. Feel free to view our separate menus for food and wine.
