The entire staff here at The Rowe Inn takes pride in our efforts to make your fine dining experience relaxed, casual, and in an unparalleled atmosphere. Our most valued accolades come from you - our guests.

We're also proud of the many praises we've received in our industry - including a host of Wine Spectator awards.

Following is a small feedback sampling of those who enjoyed their visit as much as we hope you will.

2019 Wine Spectator Award

The Rowe Inn was recently recognized by Wine Spectator as a recipient of their distinguished 2019 Best of Award of Excellence!

Award winners provide wine lists that display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation. Typically offering 350 or more selections, the award-winning restaurants are destinations for serious wine lovers, showing a deep commitment to wine, both in the cellar and through their service team.

Ellsworth, Michigan Going Home: Roots, but No Tracks
The food is exceptional -- strongly accented country French, read off a chalkboard...I have heard that people from Ohio fly here in private planes, eat and fly back. A scheduled airline would not be excessive.

Ode to the Rowe: A 'magical' meal
High on the list of dangers known to restaurant reviewers is death by gratification -- and (visiting the Rowe Inn) had me concerned to the point of drool.

The Rowe Inn
Rowe regulars appreciate that a good restaurant need not be fancy, formal, or even elegant. They know, too, that good meals require good wine and conversation. Much of the charm of The Rowe is in the utterly relaxed nature of a meal there. However good its food and wine, the Rowe is still essentially a simple, unpretentious roadhouse where, on a slow night, the proprietor may well pull up a chair for a little conversation.
